Simultaneous exhibition with Sergey Karjakin

Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play against one of the world’s greatest Grandmasters.

Sergey Karjakin has competed in six Chess Olympiads, winning three gold medals, two silver and a bronze. Grandmaster Karjakin won the 2012 World Rapid Chess Championship and the Chess World Cup 2015. Since 2002 he holds the Guinness World Records title as the world’s youngest Grandmaster, having qualified for this title at the age of 12 years. This November he is competing in NYC with Magnus Carlsen of Norway for the title of the World Chess Champion.

On February 1st ten lucky auction winners will get a chance to participate in Mr. Karjakin’s simultaneous chess exhibition in New York, where Grandmaster Karjakin will play multiple games at a time with the event participants. Attendees will be able to take a picture with Mr. Karjakin and get his autograph.

Proceeds from the event (except for platform fees) will support UNICEF’s life-saving work in more than 190 countries and territories. By putting children first, UNICEF has helped save more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization, by providing health care and immunizations, clean water and sanitation, nutrition, education, emergency relief and more.

Tickets to Mr. Karjakin’s simultaneous chess exhibition are sold using an all-pay auction model: every bidder must pay regardless of whether they win the tickets; the ten highest bidders will win, all the other bidders will be able to get Mr. Karjakin’s autograph. The auction will end on January 16, 2017.
